Baptist Church
We are an independent Baptist church located in a country setting on the outskirts of Akron, Ohio. When our church began a building program several years ago, we decided that a country look belonged with our country theme. On the outside, our church has the appearance of a farm, which is why we are know as the “The Church In The Barn.” When you arrive on property, we think you will agree that our goal was achieved. But as much as we have enjoyed building up our property over the years, our real goal is to build up people and help them grow Spiritually. We realize that no one likes the feeling of being left out. That is why, here at Heritage, we go the extra mile to make sure you know this is the perfect place for you and your family. No matter what your background or present circumstances, it is our goal to help you have an exciting and fulfilling future. You will enjoy our vibrant choir, sound biblical preaching, traditional values, and friendly church family. Christian School
The purpose of Heritage Baptist Academy is to provide a Christ-centered education. Our goal, based on Luke 2:52, is to educate and train the whole student—physically, socially, intellectually, and spiritually—for the gospel ministry. We desire to send out into the world young people who will be lights in this night of spiritual darkness. Because the Lord requires a fit vessel, guidelines for personal habits, definite dress codes, and proper leisure time activities are provided. We believe the student must honor the rights of others and respect the individual’s freedom. Not only must a young person have his appearance and actions reflect the Lord Jesus, but he must also have wisdom, knowledge, and understanding to serve the Lord. Heritage Baptist Academy is open only to members of Heritage Baptist Church.
