Mark and Linda have been missionaries with BIMI since 1982. When they first went to Nigeria in 1984, their desire for the work in Africa was five-fold: Evangelize, Establish, Edify, Enlist, and Educate.
The Lord enabled them to accomplish these goals for the past 32 years through church planting. We thank the Lord that He enabled them to see nine indigenous churches established and functioning in West Africa.
Recently, they have made a change in their ministry. With pressing health issues for both Linda and Mark, they have decided with counsel from BIMI and their home pastor, Mike Holloway of Temple Baptist Church of Kokomo, Indiana, to move to BIMI’s ARM ministry.
The plan for the ARM ministry with BIMI will entail the same things they have done in the past, but will be based in Indiana. Their goal is to evangelize the lost here in the United States and in Africa — The Sigstad’s plan to make several trips per year to Africa to help the churches there with revivals and special evangelistic campaigns.
